ORYX Gaming announces new push into the Italian market

A subsidiary of Bragg Gaming Group has announced a new push into the Italian market.

ORYX Gaming, which is owned by Bragg, will be moving into Italy’s gaming market after it signed a partnership with a regional operator.

This operator, Microgame, is considered to be one of the main providers in the Italian sector.

It is understood that a variety of games will be offered as part of the new arrangement.

This will include Egyptian Magic, which is the new major title from Bragg’s Atomic Slot Lab studio.

Other games that will be represented in the new pairing include Respins of Amun-Re and Royal Seven.

Golden Nights, meanwhile, is also thought to be set to feature.

Statements from senior figures

In statements to the press, senior figures at the two companies emphasized what an important milestone it is.

For Bragg, Chris Looney, who is the chief commercial officer, drew attention to the fact that the Italian market is the second largest internet-based market in Europe.

“This agreement that will see us enter Italy, the second biggest online market in Europe, is another watershed moment for us and comes several months after we took our content live in the UK, Europe’s largest iGaming market, underlining our commitment to expand in large and established regulated markets,” he said.

He went on to say that pairing up with Microgame would lead to accessing many major operators in the country and boosting the levels of audience it can access.

“Our partnering with Microgame, Italy’s largest B2B provider, gives us access to numerous leading operators in the country, which will enable us to reach a wide local audience from the outset,” he said.

He concluded by saying that it was an “exciting” time for the firm.

“It’s an exciting time for Bragg as we continue our growth trajectory in new markets with more expansion still to come,” he explained.

For Microgame, meanwhile, the chief executive officer Marco Castaldo said that the goal of the company was to offer “first-class entertainment”.

He emphasized that ORYX had proven itself as a strategic content provider.

“Our goal is to bring first-class entertainment to our players and with ORYX content’s proven popularity, we are thrilled to be the first partner to introduce it in Italy,” he said.
